‘More Consistent’ by TMVF
Exclusive premiere of ‘More Consistent’ by TMVF.
The emergence of COVID-19 has prompted much unforeseen change in the world, with the disbandment of Berlin’s TMVF now counted among its casualties.
Before the departure of frontman Theo Taylor to his homeland of New Zealand, however, the group managed to record one last track.
‘More Consistent’ is a call to contentment, encouraging the shaking off of deeply-embedded or socially-acquired notions of ‘progress’ in favour of a calmer, more authentic worldview;
More than the crust I came in,
More is as much as consistent.
Most of the song was recorded remotely during lockdown in November 2020 and features a guest appearance by Shane Mccord (of Sham) on saxophone.
The band would like to thank everyone who has supported them over the years, including the past collaborators who helped shape TMVF into what it is today.
Other projects including current members of TMVF include Ultrabonus, Matching Outfits, and Move78.
Theo Taylor – guitar/bass/vocals
Leah Corper – keyboard/vocals
Michael Buter – synth
Nir Sabag – percussion
Shane Mccord – saxophone
Recorded by TMVF, mixed by Theo Taylor.
