Exclusive album stream of Lennox C.B.’s ‘High Hopes’, a dreamy pop-rock album with hints of folk-rock.

Based out of the bustling musical community of Toronto, ON, Canada, Lennox Campbell-Berzins has performed and recorded in a variety of genres on various instruments over the past decade within the Toronto music scene.

As a songwriter and frontman, Lennox began leading bands in 2012 with alternative rock band Ruby Cikada (2012-2017), and has since gone on to spearhead a host of projects, including psych/alt rock band Broken Wolves (2017-) as well as the disparate solo recording projects Lennox C.B. (psych/dream pop 2018 -) and Sleepy Demons (alternative/folk rock 2019 -).

Having released his debut album, ‘Night Light’, in 2018, Lennox C.B. continues the tradition with a new offering in ‘High Hopes’ – a fresh installment of dreamy pop-rock with hints of folk-rock, alternative, psychedelic and baroque pop. Traits of such disparate groups as Beach House, The Byrds, and Weezer collude together to form a cohesive package of songs that deal with themes of nostalgia, melancholy, and regret, all complete with a sonorous soup of lush harmonies, synths, and shimmery guitars. ‘High Hopes’ proves to be a high-water mark for the artist, a monument to their solo-development in aspects of production, arrangements and song-writing, and a proud successor to their first attempts at self-production. Following the release, Lennox C.B. intends to recommit time and resources to their band Broken Wolves before attempting to expand the current discography into trilogy format.
