French psych prog band that is influenced by a wide variety of musical styles, from 70s prog-rock such as Camel, to more modern metal bands such as Russian Circles.
Brought together by the idea of collaborative composition as well as a passion for food (tyromancy, which gives its name to the band, is the practice of divination by the study of cheese fermentation), the Tyromancers formed in 2018, near Paris.
Recorded by Amaury Sauvé at the Apiray Studio (Birds In Row, It It Anita, Bison Bisou), the band first album ‘Colors Through The Void’ is a musical journey, a blend of surf-rock and black metal, funk and stoner, jazz and hard-rock.
