“What was it like to be a teenager in the 90s?”

In 1996, when Will Z. was a teenager, he began to work on his first concept album, dealing with themes of his life at this moment; then he forgot about it, composed another album, left unfinished, then another, and another…The main idea of The Salvation Of Morgane was to collect all these puzzle pieces, put them together to tell a story, adding new songs and recent stories about musician’s life on the road.

Will Z. has been playing, with bands or as a solo artist, throughout Belgium, Germany, Holland, UK and Spain. He worked with Daevid Allen and Gilli Smyth from Gong, the legendary space-rock band, and The Book Of AM, a multicultural folk project formed in the island of Mallorca during the 70’s. In 2016, Iggy Pop broadcasted three songs of the fourth album by Will Z. and his first band Cosmic Trip Machine on the BBC.

The first Black Moon Tape album, introducing Pierre Vancraenenbroeck on drums, will be available in June 2017 on every digital stores (iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify, more) with the help from Freaksville Records, Belgium. A limited CD version (vinyl replica) with a special packaging will be released.
