Exclusive track premiere of ‘Cloudless’ by experimental jazz band Sakoyana.

Sakoyana is an experimental-jazz-freak-funk band from Northern California, influenced by sounds and creations of all kinds. ‘Cloudless’ is an original composition that was recorded live in Freestone, CA with the aid and support of our engineer Brian Ohm.

“Inquired to describe the mood of this song, I found myself describing a pool of water at night, reflecting celestial bodies along with the sounds of night insects and a sort of energized quietude. I described this at one of our live shows and asked the audience to contribute any suggestions as the song was still untitled. After the show, our beloved part-time band member Samantha Hasek suggested the title “Cloudless”, and it stuck.”
