‘Live at Moonah Arts Collective’ by SPAWN | EP Premiere

Exclusive EP premiere of ‘Live at Moonah Arts Collective’ by Melbourne psychedelic rockers SPAWN, out November 11th via SloomWeep Productions.

Originally formed in 2016 as a doom-metal outfit, SPAWN has been reborn in 2020 through mutual worship of late ‘60s psychedelic rock, eastern scales, and spirituality.

Consisting of 7 multicultural members, SPAWN’s live performance is spellbinding. A combination of hypnotic drumming, eastern-influenced guitar/sitar/keys melodies and compelling deliveries from four vocalists make SPAWN a flowing, graceful immersion that equally represents the old world and the new.

“The past couple of years have been hard for us all, but the love for music kept SPAWN moving forward. Despite the endless lockdowns and bassist Jewel’s battle with Cancer, SPAWN have experienced new birth with 4 new members and started developing their new sound as a 7-piece”.

Sound engineer/Producer Redro Redriguez from Moonah Arts Collective (Rye,Melbourne) invited SPAWN for a crowdfunded live recording/filming session as a way to support the local music scene.
