‘Frames’ by ThëM | Album Premiere
Exclusive album premiere of ‘Frames’ by ThëM, out April 14th via Overdub Recordings.
Thëm, or “the others,” used as a reference to an entity external to all that is reality, not recognizing oneself in the stereotypes proposed by society and all that follows.
Thëm is a music project that was established in February 2022. The band’s sound finds natural expression in a melting pot that takes shape through the blending of post-rock, post-hardcore, and alternative. The result is an experience that teeters between intense moments and more ambient oriented parts. In early 2023, the band signed a record deal with Overdub Recordings for the release of their debut album.
‘Frames’ represents what has been the path of the band so far. Nine songs in which themes such as losses, personal hardships, failures, analysis of the life path, “love” in its broadest meaning are enclosed. All of this finds graphic expression in an empty frame that can be interpreted differently by looking at it in the various time frames of life: – in the past referring to everything that is lost in the course of the same
– in the present because it cannot contain it as it ceases to exist at the same time it is created
-into the future for the continuing uncertainty of our times.
Preceded by the singles ‘Smart Pressure’ and ‘Fragments,’ ‘Frames’ is the new Thëm album to be released on April 14th by Overdub Recordings and distributed throughout Europe via Code7/PHD.
