“‘Jimi Come Home’ is one part truth and three parts fiction. It is true that a guy named Jimi packed up his guitar in the middle of our band practice and walked out without any explanation, never to be heard from again. The rest of the album is my imaginary speculation about the demons he may have faced and how his hypothetical actions may have impacted others. I wrote most of the songs before the band formed and even recorded a few demos. But once I brought them into rehearsal, each member of the band contributed to transforming the songs based on their impressive rock and roll resumes. By the time we got into the studio, we had organically molded each track to play into the strengths of each member.” Nic Andrea
