Exclusive video premiere of ‘Light the Incense’ by Black Snake Moan, taken from the upcoming album, ‘Lost in Time,’ out May 24, 2024 on vinyl, CD, and digital formats on Area Pirata Records and Echodelick Records.

Black Snake Moan, the project led by Italian singer, guitarist, and composer Marco Contestabile, is gearing up for the release of their third studio album, ‘Lost in Time,’ which will be available on vinyl, CD, and digital formats through the Italian label Area Pirata Records and the American label Echodelick Records on May 24, 2024.

Following the success of their debut album ‘Spiritual Awakening’ in 2017 and the ethereal sounds of ‘Phantasmagoria’ in 2019, Black Snake Moan continued to captivate audiences with the double singles ‘Revelation & Vision’ (2022) and ‘Fire & What You See’ (2023). Their live performances garnered widespread acclaim, with numerous shows across Italy, Europe, and participation in prestigious festivals like ESNS Groningen, MIL Lisbon, and Sziget Festival Budapest, along with appearances in the USA, including the International Blues Challenge 2020 in Memphis.

In addition to his work with Black Snake Moan, Marco Contestabile joined Italian psychedelic rock band New Candys as a bass player for their European and UK tours in 2023, also supporting The Black Angels from Texas.

‘Lost in Time’ promises to be a sonic journey blending blues, folk, and psychedelic rock, evoking the vast expanse of the desert landscape with its cycles of light and darkness, birth, and transformation. The album features a special guest appearance by Italian musician Roberto Dell’Era, known for his work with Afterhours and The Winstons, on the track ‘Sunrise’.

Ahead of the album release, the first single, ‘Light the Incense,’ accompanied by a video directed by Marco Contestabile, offers a psychedelic exploration of fleeting dreams and desires, invoking the timeless essence of the subconscious beneath the crescent moon.
