Today, the Belgian-based quartet Billions Of Comrades presents the music video for their single ‘Tetons’. This track is part of their upcoming album ‘Trotop,’ set to release on April 12, 2024, through Rockerill and Black Basset Records.

Billions Of Comrades merges organic and synthetic sounds, crafting music characterized by asymmetrical structures, infectious beats, and spirited vocals. Their dance punk style, brimming with energy and intensity, thrives both online and onstage.

A nipple is cute, but it’s also a weapon of feminist protest against the issues of domination in our society. Double standards, male gaze, hypersexualization, confiscation of breastfeeding, censorship and commercialization: while this violence is experienced daily by a large part of the population, it’s important for us to join this protest movement, to relay and share with our audience the values of respect, benevolence and unconditional equality between beings.

“For this music video, we were lucky enough to be surrounded by Amy Plégie for the sploshing (a colorful, fluid and gourmand fetish) and the whole Jekyll N’ Hyde team for the images, a perfect match that allowed us to visually translate the frenzy and colors of our music. Eroticism of our body parts, playful color sploshing and an ode to nipples of all kinds support the lyrics. Perhaps everyone’s freedom begins with a nipple.
