Jr. Juggernaut, the Los Angeles-based power trio, returns with their fourth full-length album, ‘Another Big Explosion.’ The album blends raw emotion and powerful instrumentation, staying true to the band’s roots.

The single ‘Take Alone’ captures the essence of the album’s themes. Singer/guitarist Mike Williamson reflects, “When you’re desperate for a human connection, sometimes you’ll let yourself be taken advantage of or abused just so there’s someone else in the room with you. It’s not the right decision, but sometimes it’s the only one that makes sense.”

‘Another Big Explosion’ features tracks like the melodic ‘Hang On,’ the driving ‘Lonely Boy,’ and the ominous closer ‘Total Darkness.’ Williamson’s use of alternate tuning creates a unique soundscape of thick power chords with ringing top strings, resulting in what he describes as their heaviest and prettiest album yet. Co-produced by Williamson and drummer Wal Rashidi, this album introduces bassist Noah Green and marks their first collaboration with Mindpower Records.
