‘Eaten By Flowers’ by Holden Miller | New Album, ‘Holden Miller v. The State Of California’

Exclusive track premiere of ‘Eaten By Flowers’ by Holden Miller, taken from the upcoming album ‘Holden Miller v. The State Of California,’ slated for release on November 15th, 2024.

Describing his sound as “music outside the box,” he effortlessly traverses the landscapes of folk, pop, and everything in between.

Holden’s recent track, ‘Eaten by Flowers,’ is a poignant reflection on mental health and the paradox of feeling overwhelmed despite external stability. “While on a walk after a discussion with a good friend about mental health, some street graffiti caught our eye. “EATEN BY FLOWERS” it read,” he recalls. “We quickly realized it was a fitting metaphor for everything we had been talking about. Why do we still feel anxious, sad, and unfulfilled when we are healthy, have loving friends and family, and a roof over our heads? It’s like we’re being eaten by flowers. I love the way this song is written and I think it’ll resonate with so many young people in my generation, especially those pursuing a creative career.”

A professional singer-songwriter, dancer, and a refreshingly witty presence, Holden is not your average artist. His journey began in Long Island, NY, where he graduated at the top of his class in 2021 before making the bold move to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time. His mantra? “Follow your dreams, kids, even if it makes you anxious sometimes.”
