Kinsella & Pulse, LLC Unveil ‘Brutal, The Way You Like’ Ahead of New Album ‘Open ing Night’

The dynamic duo has rebranded as Kinsella & Pulse, LLC, and they’re back with their most ambitious work yet. After the success of 2023’s ‘Giddy Skelter,’ their upcoming album ‘Open ing Night’ promises to push even further.
The new single, ‘Brutal, The Way You Like,’ out now, is the second release ahead of ‘Open ing Night,’ and it’s sure to grab your attention. The track blends experimental pop with a sharp, edgy twist, and the accompanying video, shot in Italy and directed by Sua Yoo, is as striking as the song itself.
Tim Kinsella explains the song’s journey: “This song changed both shape & feel a few times before ending up in this state. We played it instrumental on tour last yr & it felt real proggy. Then I worked out a vocal part, but just couldn’t get it to sit right. Then we recorded a wild version in Italy w/ Theo playing crazy double-time breakbeat drums. Finally we landed on this duo version, Jen singing from the perspective of an American aristocrat stunned to find herself a refugee.”
