Stumbleine’s ‘Deleted Scene’: A Nostalgic Journey Through Hazy Memories

‘Deleted Scene,’ the eighth studio album from UK producer Peter Cooper, also known as Stumbleine, is a captivating collection of nostalgia-laden electronica.

Originating from the UK post-rock scene, Cooper adopted the Stumbleine moniker in 2012, where he began merging dreamy, slow-paced pop with fractured lo-fi beats. His music features melancholic R&B vocals floating above submerged guitar ballads, while sand-blasted samples weave through broken rhythms to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and delicately warm. Stumbleine is celebrated for his DIY approach, sharing his music directly with fans or through the independent Monotreme Records.

Cooper describes ‘Deleted Scene’ as a reflection of those memories that endlessly replay in our minds—fuzzy recollections that morph into bittersweet fever dreams. Everyone has their own “deleted scenes,” gradually distorting and fading away over time.

Released today, June 14th, the album is available digitally, on CD in a color-printed slipcase, and as a limited edition of 300 copies on 180g white vinyl through Monotreme Records.
