‘Epoch’ by Wyndham Earl
Exclusive album premiere of ‘Epoch’ by Wyndham Earl.
Out on the 6th November, on Time Spun Records is this debut LP from producer Wyndham Earl. Following the ‘Awakenings’ EP released in July comes this full-length journey through a downbeat instrumental soundtrack of psychedelic soundscapes, beats, samples, synths and an orchestra of instruments. Falling somewhere between downtempo, psychedelic rock, instrumental hip hop, 70s progressive jazz and soundtrack music!

Having played a background role for many other artists the last 15 years has seen Wyndham Earl aka Andrew Wilkins wearing a variety of musical hats, for different projects as musician, producer, or co-writer: a 4-year stint in Bonobo’s live band, composing the song ‘The Man Who Stole My Sunglasses’ for Khruangbin’s debut album ‘The Universe Smiles Upon You’. Contributions and remixes to albums by Alice Russell, TM Juke, live projects from Kinny (Tru Thoughts) and Rough Fields (Bombshop), and as producer has worked on a broad spectrum of music from Psych-Folk band Rokurokubi to Hip-Hop acts including Dr. Syntax (under the pseudonym The Evil Sun). ‘Epoch’ sees Wyndham Earl crafting dense sonic tapestries into a dreamy, mood-filled, beat-driven soundtrack from dusty vinyl samples, blending naturally with live instrumentation and synths.
