“‘Clocks Run Out’ is about the feeling of time passing and the fear of becoming irrelevant, as is evident in the line ‘The world keeps turning, nothings ever staying in its place, and while you were gone you got left out of the race, lost your place’.”

 

‘Cycles’ is centered around cycles and patterns, be it positive or destructive, that everyone must deal with. Cascading synth lines, atmospheric vocals, and fuzzed-out guitars highlight the buzzed blur of performing, the energy of a dance floor, the short-lived thrill of escapism, sourness of lost opportunities and relationships, and the awareness of cycles in life and choosing to reconcile with them or not.
