‘Onward Indian’ by The Roaring 420s | “Desert landscapes, dirty cities and smoky living-rooms”

Exclusive video premiere of ‘Onward Indian’ by psych rockers, The Roaring 420s.

The Roaring 420s’ new video ‘Onward Indian’ is a rock’n’roll tour-de-force through the United States. Compiled from footage of their 2016 tour, the video shifts between desert landscapes, dirty cities and smoky living-rooms.

With the title being a homage to concert promoter and motorcycle enthusiast Richard Sherry, the video not only features cameos by Sherry himself but also other friends as The Blank Tapes mastermind Matt Adams. ‘Onward Indian’ will be available for download via The Roaring 420s’ Bandcamp site.

Blending surf rock and late 60s pre-Punk into Eastern psychedelia The Roaring 420s from Dresden, Germany, rather sound like an obscure little gem discovered at a garage sale in California. Roughly located somewhere between The Beach Boys and The Velvet Underground, they’re bursting out with twangy guitars, groovin’ organ and an electric sitar!
