‘Mouthplay’ by Le Days | New Album, ‘Stuck In My Head’ | “A journey you haven’t been on before”
Exclusive video premiere of ‘Mouthplay’ by Le Days, taken from the latest album ‘Stuck In My Head’.
Le Days is a Swedish composer and writer that may take you on a journey you haven’t been on before. It’s been said his music is more of an experience to be had rather than a song just to be listened to and we cannot help but to be willingly led down into his world of beautifully orchestrated chaos. Inside it we are faced with a chance to explore our own struggles. A journey that could truly change the listener. It may not be for everyone, but then again no good music really should. His fourth album titled ‘Stuck In My Head (Alternate Recordings)’ is a kind of transformation of the mind and of the inner spectrum as we may expect from this experimental composer and as we are submerged into the suggestive images and sounds that Hedin paints for us he leaves us on a road, and it’s up to us to walk it.
Sometimes I believe Le Days has shown us a way to connect with the parts of ourselves that we might not want to shed a light on. Everyone may not be ready for such a thing, but that’s the beauty of it. The new video ‘Mouthplay’ is the opening track on the album and is really better experienced than explained. Maybe it’s a portrait of struggle, maybe it’s a way out. You will have to decide for yourself but whatever you do, if you decide to, let yourself experience it fully in a place of focus and preferably alone.
Le Days creates beautiful music and his latest album will take a place in your heart for a long time.
