D. Rives Curtright is a rock ‘n’ roll enthusiast, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter in Portland, OR. Having played in a number of bands over the years, Curtright has had the good fortune to open for stalwarts such as X, Dead Moon, Wayne Kramer, Dee Dee Ramone, The Blasters, The Knitters, Detroit Cobras, The Sadies, Drive-By Truckers, Violent Femmes, Guitar Wolf, Monkeywrench, The Bell Rays, and a host of others.

Curtright tracked the first record released under his own name, ‘Night of the Boot’, in 2020. The record is steeped in the rock ‘n’ roll tradition with harmony guitars and harmony vocals.
Curtright returned to the studio immediately following the release of ‘Night of the Boot’ and began tracking his sophomore record, ‘In on the Killer Take’. Thin Lizzy harmony guitars and harmony vocal stylings appear once again with the addition of pedal steel flourishes and a percussion party underbelly.
While maintaining a gritty vibe, In on the Killer Take also embraces the classic pop of AM radio frequencies long gone.
