Zagušljivi dim (Suffocating smoke) is a three-member band from the city of Čakovec in Croatia, which seeks inspiration in the worlds around us and inside ourselves. The main mission of Zagušljivi dim is an mantric musical journey that aims to investigate the wondrous, ghastly, unknown, and what seems familiar to us. The smoke symbolizes the spoken truth, change, and elusiveness.
The song is an incorporation of a biography of an individual fused with the enchantment and strangeness of existence itself. The thin layer between dreams and reality in its eternal reciprocity is the album scenario and main topic, reflecting the two interconnected parts (San – Dream, Java – Reality). A bridge from the unconscious to the conscious mind as a dance between dimensions of sacred & profane, heavenly & earthly, real & surreal. The Valley is a spiritual path, empty and open, in which all the mountain rivers flow. The sacred mushroom is the symbol of Heaven on Earth, moving the boundaries of life and death. The primordial archetype with the moth as a symbol of the kingdom of wisdom, a victory of light that comes from the night.
