‘Pretty Boring’ by T.S. Tadin | Album Premiere
Exclusive album premiere of ‘Pretty Boring,’ the sophomore album by T.S. Tadin, out November 18th.
T.S. Tadin is a multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter/producer who enjoys nothing more than writing about himself in the third person and entertains music merely as a means to pursue his true passion. This Pleasant Valley based artist takes influences from a wide range of music. From the latest indie bands to old jazz and classical. “I particularly love 60s pop and avant-garde. My two favorite bands are the Beatles and the Velvet Underground.”
About upcoming album, ‘Pretty Boring,’ “The main theme of the album is finding beauty in the mundane. It was written and recorded over the pandemic. Because of lockdowns I had to record all the parts myself.”

“The follow up to my over dramatic debut album ‘To Heaven or the Void’ released in 2020, ‘Pretty Boring’ was my attempt to create a “fun” album. I was going for a retro pop vibe. A West coast Velvet Underground or East coast Beach Boys. I think the longest song is three and a half minutes long. Most of the songs hover around two and a half. I was trying for tighter arrangements. I got into building and restoring old instruments. The record features a 1913 Steinway Vertegrand upright. A Lowrey DSO-1 organ, and a Fender 5e3 clone. The Neil Young amp!”
