‘February 6th and 7th’ by Bad Pritt | New Album, ‘Debris’
Exclusive video premiere of ‘February 6th and 7th’ by Bad Pritt, taken from the upcoming album, ‘Debris,’ out March 3rd via ShyRec.
After dealing with overwhelming pain, disconnection from reality can occur and you separate yourself from your emotions, just observing the ruins all around you. When you are detached from yourself, only laconic notes are written, sometimes with complicated space-time references: we cannot recognize anymore those territories we were used to stepping on.
Seven tracks are marked with dates, an attempt to set fixed points in time, an aspiration for precise moments in the loop. Musically speaking, Bad Pritt in this new album has abandoned evocative electronic sounds and the slightly rhetorical pop of his debut album, steering toward much more raw sounds. Tracks begin with a classic, delicate theme that is progressively unstructured and finally annihilated.
‘February 6th and 7th’ is available from today in your favourite digital store, while ‘Debris’ (on CD) is already available for presale from today on Shyrec’s Bandcamp Store.
