‘Feelin’ Good’ by The Minks | New Album, ‘Creatures of Culture’
Exclusive video premiere of ‘Feelin’ Good’ by The Minks, taken from the upcoming album, ‘Creatures of Culture,’ out March 3rd.
‘Feelin’ Good’ is a fantastic funky number by this Nashville based band and it’s being part of the exciting upcoming album.
The band did the majority of this track together in one room, in one take, at Creative Workshop (Nashville, TN – Buzz Cason’s studio) on a whim at the end of a long recording day. It was engineered by Parker Cason, produced by Robbie Crowell (Midland), mixed by Jeremy Ferguson at Battle Tapes (Cage The Elephant, Bully) (Nashville, TN), and mastered by Preston Cochran at Trace Horse Studio (Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker) (Nashville, TN).
Accompanying the release is a music video, directed by Emma Gillian, Tessa Amidon and Nate Rinehart along with a crew of students at SCAD and one of the band’s shows at The Royal American in Charleston, SC.
The Minks is composed of Nikki Barber, Ben Giesecke, Dylan Sevey, and Henri Young. Their upcoming album is all about “love!” Nikki Barber started the band based on the idea that “if you don’t create, you’ll combust.”
