‘Come Home To Yourself’ by The Sea Tease | Album Premiere
Exclusive album premiere of ‘Come Home To Yourself’ by The Sea Tease, out now.
The Sea Tease has transformed and bloomed as an artist since their 2020 release, ‘Resilient,’ and ‘Come Home To Yourself,’ their follow up album, is a testament to that.
With the most powerful lyric writing The Sea Tease has released to date the full length LP weaves a cohesive story of their personal journey navigating a divorce, breaking generational curses and coming out the other side living as their authentic self. In the time between the debut album and this release The Sea Tease has come out as non-binary, separated from their partner of over a decade and began living their best polyamorous queer life. All this to say, this album has weight.
In addition to ‘Come Home To Yourself’ dripping in vocal vibes and searing guitar licks, the artist’s signature, it has elements that you have never heard The Sea Tease utilize. A full choir including local musicians, friends and an ex-girlfriend; a string section and a horn arrangement on the opening track and lead single by Philip Lassiter who was the horn arranger and trumpet player for Prince.
This will be the sophomore full-length release from The Sea Tease; a solo/sometimes power trio project formed in Philadelphia in 2015 and currently based in Los Angeles.
The debut album, ‘Resilient,’ produced by and featuring Fernando Perdomo on bass, has gained international radio play and press. Resilient was followed by a live album as well as two singles, a cover of ‘Dazed and Confused’ by Led Zeppelin and ‘Slipping,’ an original.
The Sea Tease has also been featured as a guitarist and vocalist on ‘Ram On,’ a tribute and re-recording of Paul McCartney’s ‘Ram’ featuring Dany Seiwell and sanctioned by McCartney himself. In addition, their collaborations include: Ty Asoudegan of Fastride and Danny Henry.
