French-Italian duo, whirlwind combination of spacio-tribal drums and bewitched electronics. Imagine if you will, a Silver Apples club-cut for Rephlex, or Black Pus jamming with Yamatsuka Eye_ Olmo and Héloïse face each other, practicing hypnotic audio gestures, they synchronize waves and gusts to invoke the spirits of the woods and the ancient gods. Today we are revealing the second single ‘Wizzarding’ along with the video clip.

Like troubadours from outer space, Zohastre venture into an hallucinated quest, ecstatic and psychedelic cavalcade, they unleash impro-ritualistic music for trance-like FX and reverse glitch dance moves. Both primitive and futuristic, their sound obliquely refers to a whole bunch of noise/rock/electronic approaches : free-wheeling U.F.O. I.D.M. Dinoavian squall & foghorn drone versus delirious breakbeat pandemonium.

It sounds like you’ve crept up on a long-lost village in the valleys, peering over from behind the trees at night, staring at a huge flaming fire with the villagers in circles, everyone possessed by the incantatory power of the moon and fire.
