‘Dungens Puls’ by Fauna
Exclusive track premiere of ‘Dungens Puls’ by The Gothenburg music collective Fauna.
Fauna released their debut singles ‘Animalisk’ and ‘Cirkel’ in March 2023, showcasing their unique and driving sound that has already earned them high praise from both audiences and critics alike.
Combining organic instrumentation with dance-friendly beats, Fauna’s debut singles provide an exciting introduction to their identity. Both tracks were recorded live at the studio Skeppet in Gothenburg with producer Pär Hagström and mastered by Hans Olsson at the legendary studio Svenska Grammofonstudion.
The releases were followed up by the band’s first live appearance on the 17th of March, which took place at the collective’s underground club experience in Gothenburg, where the international acts Acid Arab and Carbon Based Lifeforms were invited as co-headlines.
As their debut singles continue to make waves across the music scene, Fauna is gearing up to take their dynamic live show on the road this summer and for that the collective offer another single today – ‘Dungens Puls’.
‘Dungens Puls’ (which translates to “the pulse of the grove”) conveys an organic, psychedelic & dance friendly experience. The music is a meditative ritual where the listeners find themselves encased in rhythms. You will be dragged along through thorns and bushes by a forceful, volcanic pulse. Time and space lose all meaning in a mind warping journey through the woods.

‘Dungens Puls’ was recorded live and mixed during April/May 2023 in the collective’s own studio by Ibrahim Shabo and Caroline Kabat and was mastered in Berlin by Frida Claeson Johansson at Svenska Grammofonstudion.
