Introducing “The Psychedelic Tarot” by Magick Brother & Mystic Sister, the enigmatic Barcelona band, unveiling not one but two albums: ‘Tarot Pt.1’ and ‘Tarot Pt.2’. These albums, conceived as a two-part concept, present a mesmerizing journey through 22 songs inspired by the Major Arcana of the Tarot, weaving a tapestry of cross-cultural dreamscapes.

With their distinct blend of space-age keys, spiraling synthesizers, intricate guitar work, powerful drums, and ethereal vocals, Magic Brother & Mystic Sister crafts a unique fusion of dream-prog, cosmic jazz, Kosmiche, and magical folk. Each track contributes to the creation of an immersive musical experience, showcasing the band’s unparalleled creativity.

The decision to release the album in two parts allows listeners ample time to delve into the music and explore the Tarot-inspired universe. Designed for a vinyl experience, combining the two records reveals an intricate astrological mandala within the gatefold, enhancing the visual and auditory journey.

‘Tarot Pt.1’ is set for release on March 29th, 2024, available in limited edition gatefold vinyl with various color options, as well as a 6-panel digipack CD. ‘Tarot Pt.2’ will follow approximately two months later, ensuring fans can continue their exploration on both vinyl and CD formats.

For these albums, Magic Brother & Mystic Sister is joined by a talented ensemble including Eva Muntada on synthesizers, mellotron, organ, and piano, Xavier Sandoval on bass and guitar, Alejandro Carmona on drums, alongside new member Toni Jagwar on sitar. Additional contributors include Maya Fernandez on flute, Glenn Brigman on vocals, Didac Fernandez on percussion, and Dominic O’Dair providing voice-over elements.
