In the latest scoop from the groovy scene of Los Angeles, the sensational neo-psych ensemble, Dream Phases, drops their latest tune, ‘Living In A Cave’ – the second teaser from their forthcoming LP, ‘Phantom Idol.’ Set to hit the shelves today, this album is primed to keep the flame of shoegaze, psychedelic, and indie rock burning bright, showcasing Dream Phases’ mastery and evolution over their two previous records. Alongside this sonic gem comes a mind-bending music video that’s sure to send you on a trip down memory lane.

Brandon Graham says “‘Living in a Cave’ is about being too comfortable in isolation and being alone and maybe a little hesitant to go out to interact with people and society. A bit influenced by the pandemic, where I lived alone and became very comfortable in my day to day routine of staying up all night to write and record, watch films and a lot of reading. No schedules or responsibilities really. The red, blue and green part is a direct visual of July 4th fireworks, which in my old neighborhood of Silver Lake, were pretty overwhelming but also a reminder of outside existence, especially during the pandemic. Ultimately we need to leave our ‘caves’ to reintegrate into society after essentially a long isolated hibernation.”
