Multi-talented composer and performer Mr Diagonal, hailed as the maestro of pop, has unveiled ‘Join the Dots.’

This “best of bedroom” album, featuring home and field recordings from 2018 to 2024, is a scrapbook of dream fragments and dispatches from a diagonal front line, capturing the magical sheen of songs recorded as close as possible to their moment of conception.

The album’s songs are crafted with a primitive palette that includes piano, traveling guitar, primary school percussion, outmoded loops, and obscure synths. Blending playful pop, fuzzy folk, and mutant music hall, the album is designed to complement Mr Diagonal’s one-man-show at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2024.
