Exclusive track premiere ‘We’ll Start Anew’ by Orkestr, taken from the upcoming album, ‘I,’ out September 6, 2024, distributed by Sound Effect Records.

Available on vinyl and CD through Sound Effect Records, the album will also be released as a limited edition cassette exclusively on Bandcamp.

Orkestr is a space rock band from Horst aan de Maas, The Netherlands, blending textured synths, melodic bass guitar, and laid-back drums to craft timeless soundscapes perfect for your sci-fi dreams. Formed in late 2019 by four experienced musicians from local bands such as No Man’s Valley and The Mothmen, Orkestr faced the unexpected challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. This disruption led them to focus on their studio work, ultimately resulting in the creation of their debut album.

To complement the album, a captivating animated film by visual artist Jenzen will premiere on September 7th and 8th during GKW-I, an immersive audio-visual “gesamtkunstwerk” that blends music, film, and theatre. This unique event will take place in the enchanting setting of Tienray, the Netherlands.
