‘Sorrowful Bouquet’ by Alex Henry Foster | New Album, ‘A Measure Of Shape And Sounds’
Exclusive track premiere of ‘Sorrowful Bouquet’ by Alex Henry Foster, from the upcoming album ‘A Measure Of Shape And Sounds,’ due September 20th via Hopeful Tragedy Records.
In April, Alex Henry Foster and Momoka released their acclaimed LP, ‘Kimiyo.’ Last month, Foster announced his new LP, ‘A Measure Of Shape And Sounds,’ and its first single, ‘Alchemical Connection.’
Today, Foster shares the latest single from the album, ‘Sorrowful Bouquet.’ He describes the track as embodying serenity and peace, reflecting on life’s impermanence and the acceptance of our limitations. The song is accompanied by a music video filmed in Tottori, Japan, illustrating the transient nature of reality through sand and water imagery.
The video, lasting 6 minutes and 54 seconds, invites viewers to immerse themselves in a meditative experience. Foster explains that the elements in the video symbolize the journey towards letting go and finding balance between spiritual and physical realms.
‘A Measure of Shape and Sounds,’ recorded live to capture its raw essence, represents an intimate sonic journey of layered guitar loops and resonances. The album is set for release on September 20th via Hopeful Tragedy Records.
