‘I’ll Let You In’ by Heaven | New Album, ‘Dream Aloud’
Exclusive video premiere of ‘I’ll Let You In’ by Heaven, taken from their upcoming album ‘Dream Aloud,’ slated for release in March 2025 via Little Cloud Records.
NYC’s space-rock outfit Heaven returns with ‘Dream Aloud,’ their new LP slated for release in March 2025 on Little Cloud Records. Crafted with the expertise of Jonathan Krienik (The Rapture, Gang Gang Dance) on the mix and Christopher Colbert (The Walkmen, Pedro the Lion) on mastering, the album promises a lush sonic experience. The title track even brings in Steve Schiltz (Longwave, Blue October) for a guest guitar feature.
Heaven’s core duo, Matt Sumrow and Mikey Jones, already seasoned indie scene veterans from past tours with Swervedriver, Dean & Britta, and The Lemonheads, now join forces with bassist Sonia Manalili to create their dreamiest, moodiest work yet. ‘Dream Aloud’ marks their third full-length album and ventures deep into layered, spacey soundscapes—perfect for long, introspective nights.
The first single, ‘I’ll Let You In,’ is a perfect teaser for what’s to come. It layers MBV-inspired guitars with synth sounds, creating an atmospheric, almost cinematic soundscape. Sumrow’s vocals drift through the track with lines like, “I’ll let you in,” a line that leaves the meaning open to interpretation, whether it’s an invitation to step inside on a cold night or a call to open up to deeper feelings.
The music video for ‘I’ll Let You In’ was shot in renowned photographer Steven Sebring’s studio on the Lower East Side. Inside Sebring’s 3D photographic carousel, the band’s performance has an entrancing, minimalist quality that pairs beautifully with the song’s rich layers and hypnotic rhythms.
A perfect soundtrack for quiet nights or introspective journeys.
