During the holidays of 2023, Brigid Dawson and John Peter Dwyer—better known as OCS—gathered at Dwyer’s home in Los Angeles to revisit a treasure trove of songs. “Some new, some very old that I’ve never played live ever,” Dwyer recalls, as the pair pieced together an unforgettable setlist. The result? A string of intimate performances at Permanent Records Roadhouse and the Lodge Room, capturing the duo at their raw and unfiltered best.
Fast forward to now, and the magic has been immortalized in Live at Permanent Records, a stunning live LP featuring 23 tracks spanning the OCS catalog. The album is being released as a limited-edition 2xLP and an exclusive 6×7″ boxset via Rock Is Hell Records.
For the collectors, the release offers something truly special. Housed in handmade, screen-printed wooden boxes (limited to just 200 copies), the physical edition also includes crystal-clear vinyl variants, colorful solid red and blue pressings, and more, distributed globally through select labels and retailers.
Streaming starts today, and the physical release is set for November 29th.
