Portuguese indie outfit Them Flying Monkeys have unleashed their electrifying take on Jacques Dutronc’s iconic ‘Les Gens Sont Fous, Les Temps Sont Flous.’
This fourth single from their upcoming third album, ‘Best Behavior,’ tries to captures the spirit of Dutronc’s lyrics while adding the band’s unique balance of chaos and melody—a bold homage to such a classic song.
Hailing from Portugal, Xico, Diogo, Luís, Zio, and Hugo have made a name for themselves in the underground scene, their music is melodic and full of experimentation at the same time. Renowned for their intense live performances, Them Flying Monkeys surely will make an intense new album.
After two well-received albums—’Golden Cap’ (2017) and ‘Under the Weather’ (2020)—the band is now preparing to release ‘Best Behavior,’ an album that blends their foundation with electronic direction. Slated for release on January 24th, 2025, through a collaboration between gig.ROCKS and French label Only Lovers Records, ‘Best Behavior’ will be available on CD, LP, and digitally.
