Exclusive album premiere of ‘1to0’ by Southern California’s atmospheric indie rockers Pale Rider. The album is set for release on February 28th, 2025 via Coming Home Records.

The band’s latest release dives deep into the emotional spectrum of love and loss, blending immersive soundscapes with post-punk vibes that are uniquely theirs. Originally the brainchild of singer/songwriter Rus Martin, Pale Rider transformed into a dynamic quartet in 2023 with the addition of longtime collaborators Thomas Kraus, Jon Santana, and Joe Ramos, an evolution that has enriched their sound.

Every track on ‘1to0’ has been thoughtfully produced by the band, with engineering and mixing by Jon Paz Gale and mastering by Nick Bassett (renowned for his work with Nothing and Deafheaven), giving the album an expansive yet intimate sound. The band draws inspiration from ’90s shoegaze to ambient rock.

The band’s name speaks volumes: “Pale” evokes a return to authenticity before life’s complexities overwhelm, while “Rider” symbolizes the shared journey through love, loss, and the unknown.
