‘Hallelujah’ by Miss Velvet | New EP, ‘Triptych’

Miss Velvet unveils her latest single ‘Hallelujah,’ taken from the upcoming EP ‘Triptych,’ set to drop March 21 via Miss Velvet’s own Mother Ride Records (The Orchard/Sony).

‘Hallelujah’ is big, wide-open, and dusty in all the right ways…like some cosmic road trip soundtrack where you’re blasting through desert highways, chasing whatever’s left of your dreams. Miss Velvet calls it a profound moment of full-circle acceptance (heavy), but at its core, it’s just a damn good song that makes you feel something. Like a gospel for the lost and restless, built for singing at the top of your lungs.

She’s been around, too…two world tours with George Clinton, collabs with Nick Littlemore (Empire of the Sun), and a growing cult following that keeps her name buzzing. Now, she’s stepping out solo, fully in control, fully herself.

The fantastic video was directed by Gus Black.

“’Triptych’ is me trusting my gut one hundred percent, leaving ego at the door and stepping wholeheartedly into the unknown,” said Miss Velvet. “It’s having the freedom, power and respect of walking in uncomfortable territory with a fantastical dignity.”
