Frankie and the Studs’ ‘Life’s a Glitch’—A Live-Driven Debut

Frankie and the Studs are here to make some serious noise. The L.A. four-piece’s debut album, ‘Life’s a Glitch,’ hits on March 27th, and if you’ve seen them play live, you know it’s gonna be an absolute blast.

With Frankie Clarke on vocals and guitar, Frank Salazar shredding on lead, Lizi Gionangeli laying down the bass, and Nick Rossi smashing the drums, these guys have got that electric chemistry that can only come from playing in dive bars and sweaty venues.

They’re already making waves in the L.A. scene, and it’s easy to see why. They’ve played alongside Billy Joe Armstrong’s Longshot, had a go with members of Sex Pistols and Blondie, and even teamed up with Macy Gray, who helped produce ‘Life’s a Glitch’ track ‘Some Kinda Love.’ Oh, and they’re backed by Yamaha and Gibson Guitar, because why not? The album is also coming out on vinyl!

Frankie’s got a clear vision for this one: “My process with this album was to approach everything with the live show in mind,” Frankie says. “Since we always consider ourselves a live band and love to perform, I wanted the order of songs to feel like a setlist that we could play top to bottom and capture the same energy we have live.” And she’s nailed it.

So yeah, if you’re not already keeping tabs on Frankie and the Studs, it’s time to start. ‘Life’s a Glitch’ is coming, and trust us, it’s one you don’t wanna miss.
