Third of Never Unveil ‘Grab The Ground’ | A Glimpse into ‘Damage The Pearl’

Third of Never return with ‘Grab The Ground,’ a striking preview from their forthcoming album, ‘Damage The Pearl/Original Soundtrack.’

Third of Never’s latest single ‘Grab The Ground’ is a preview of their forthcoming album, which is a soundtrack to a film.

“We noticed near the end of recording the album that certain themes and storylines were bubbling to the surface” says band founder/guitarist Jon Dawson. “We presented a rough script to a director we admired and entered the world of cinema.”

Along with bassist Jode Haskins, vocalist Doug MacMillan, keyboardist Charles Cleaver, and drummer Brandon Ruth, the band will be playing live shows throughout the American southeast throughout the remainder of 2025.

A national radio campaign for the album will commence in June.

Accompanying the new single is a video featuring scenes from ‘Damage The Pearl,’ the upcoming film by director Brent Clark. Handling lead vocals of the band’s latest sonic venture is Doug MacMillan, known for his work with The Connells (’74–’75, Stone Cold Yesterday). The album also boasts contributions from two heavyweights—John Bundrick, legendary keyboardist for The Who, and Steve Kilbey of The Church—ensuring ‘Damage The Pearl’ will be an essential listen.

The Damage The Pearl film, directed, filmed, and edited by Brent Clark, expands the project into a full multimedia experience. Watch the video, experience the film’s visuals, and grab the track now via www.thirdofnever.bandcamp.com or www.343Collective.com.
