Brooklyn’s own TVOD just dropped a new one called ‘Pool House,’ and yeah—it rules.

It’s off their debut full-length ‘Party Time,’ which lands May 9 via Mothland, and this track pretty much nails that feeling of being bummed out at a party you thought would be fun.

They filmed the video in a grimy motel pool in Jersey (on brand), and the song sounds like a punk band got dumped mid-cannonball. There’s this super catchy hook—“All I wanted was a best friend, someone to show around town”—that’s gonna rattle around your head all day, and underneath the fuzz and synth squiggles, it’s weirdly emotional in the best way.

TVOD keep it loose, keep it loud, and somehow make sadness feel like something you can shout along to with your friends. Classic move.

‘Pool House’ is out now. ‘Party Time’ is coming real soon. And if you’re in Europe this spring, they’re probably playing a sweaty set somewhere near you.
